Tune Up Rates

Although it would be easier to give an accurate estimate with your bike in front of us, it’s not a bad idea to know what our tune ups cost and what we do. Estimates are free when you come to see us, so stop by any time to get a better idea of what you’ll be spending when you bring your bike in!

Our tune ups range in price depending on the type of bike, and add the price of parts & labor to put them on if they are needed. Our tune up rates are as follows:

• Single Speed Bike(not BMX): $70

• BMX Bike: $80

• Bike with No Suspension: $80

• Bike with Front Suspension: $95

• Bike with Full Suspension: $110

• Adult Trike: $130

• Electric Bike/Scooter: $130

• Electric Trike: $160

• Tandem: $130

• Exerciser/Fitness Equipment: $80/hour, usually 1-2hrs per machine. (+ On-Site Fee if needed, if you bring machine here, it’s by appointment only.)

• On-Site/Delivery Fee (GREATER PORTLAND AREA) $45

In a tune up we do the following:

• Give the bike a quick clean
• True both wheels (tighten/loosen spokes to straighten wheels)
• Adjust both axle bearing pressures
• Adjust headset pressure
• Adjust bottom bracket pressure
• Tighten every nut & bolt to torque spec
• Lubricate every moving part (chain, bearings, cables, pivots, suspension, etc)
• Adjust brakes
• Adjust shifting
• install parts (when applicible)
• On Full Suspension bikes, we remove shock to check pivot bearings for wear/play, and replace them if needed (+ price of bearings & labor to install them)
• Test Ride & call you to let you know your bike is ready!
